For children to thrive they need the knowledge about online risks, but also the confidence and skills to say no, ask for help and know when something isn't right. By building these skills, in an age appropriate way, from KS1 we can help more children be confident, responsible and happy digital citizens now and in the future.
Building their resilience alongside their critical thinking skills is key as they move up through school and inevitably get more time and exposure online. Through sharing our workshops, resources and time with children, parents and teachers, we want to reduce the number of negative and dangerous experiences children have online, the number of cyberbullying or online safety incidents that schools have to deal with and improve the mental wellbeing and safety of all children.
For real impact to be had we need parents on board and involved in all areas of online safety. It's hard for schools to find the time and resources to run online safety sessions with parents.
In person events can have low turn outs and therefore less impact. I run online parent sessions for your parent community. Covering a variety of topics and aimed at the age of pupils aswell as preparing Year 6 parents for that all important transition to Secondary school. These sessions can be run over lunchtimes or evenings to allow for maximum attendance. Sessions are recorded and available for any parents unable to attend the live call.
A special focus on supporting teaching staff to be able to understand, identify and prevent online risks happening to their pupils.

Content is built to support and meet The Department for Education's requirements as laid out in the 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' guidelines.
2 hour sessions that can be delivered in person or online.
With children accessing the online world earlier we offer our interactive and age appropriate online safety and digital wellbeing sessions from Year 1 upwards.
With sessions in line with your IT and PSHE curriculum's and a focus on building digital literacy, wellbeing and confidence, we are committed to helping more children understand how to stay safe, protect their privacy and mental wellbeing online.
Working with Primary Schools we want to support Teachers in reducing the numbers and impact of cyberbullying, acessing inappropriate content and safeguarding concerns impacting pupils outcomes and schools resources.
